Funds on hand when a case is closed as completed and are not necessary to satisfy creditors or funds received from debtors after a case is closed as completed will be paid to the debtor but will be sent to the debtor’s attorney. Funds received in an unconfirmed or confirmed plan after the entry of an Order for Dismissal and after the Trustee has closed the case will be paid to the debtor but will be sent to the debtor’s attorney. In those cases, the Trustee will send copies of the check and letter of transmittal to the debtor.

Funds received before an Order of Dismissal or Order of Conversion in a confirmed case will be disbursed to creditors, absent a court order to the contrary.
